Via collaborated with Dale Lanzone to organize Beverly Pepper: Ten Monumental Sculptures, a major outdoor exhibition along New York Avenue in downtown Washington, D.C. from June 18, 2026 through June 1, 2027. During this time, Pepper’s dynamic weathering‑steel sculptures will grace the medians between 9th and 13th Streets NW — marking the newest installation and a significant expansion of the long‑standing New York Avenue Sculpture Corridor.
The installation is presented by the Washington DC New York Avenue Sculpture Committee, in partnership with the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) and James Barron Art representing the Beverly Pepper Studio, LLC, and in collaboration with the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
In parallel, Via coauthored a strategic plan for the New York Avenue Sculpture Corridor with Dale Lanzone. Building on the program initiated by the National Museum of Women in the Arts in 2009, and informed by the BID’s expanded investment, the completion of 12 sculpture pads, and the demonstrated success of previous exhibitions, the plan proposes an updated name, mission, and goals for the initiative. It also outlines a strengthened administrative structure designed to align existing resources and establish a long‑term, self‑sustaining operating model.
