pulitzer art foundation opening

The Pulitzer Arts Foundation, designed by Tadao Ando with commissioned works by Ellsworth Kelly and Richard Serra, is a major arts hub in St. Louis and draws visitors from around the world. Prior to its opening in the autumn of 2001, Via worked with Emily Pulitzer to prepare for the opening and dedication of the Pulitzer, which has become a unique resource for the study, enjoyment and contemplation of art and architecture within a serene and intimate setting. Via worked with Mrs. Pulitzer and the Foundation board of directors to determine long term staffing needs, prepare for visiting hours, and develop key media messages. We produced written materials and the initial web site for the Foundation, worked with local media to cover the opening, helped design multiple preview events, including producing a lecture at Powell Symphony Hall with Tadao Ando, Richard Serra and Ellsworth Kelly.
